Go paperless!
Help us reduce our paper use
The good news is that in the last year, Assiniboine Credit Union, Outlook Financial's parent company, used about 55,631 fewer envelopes and 246,358 fewer sheets of paper for our statements compared to the previous year. The bad news is that we still used 1,462,074 envelopes and 2,201,520 sheets of paper. Please help us decrease our paper use and environmental impact by discontinuing your paper statement and instead view your e-Statement through Online Banking.
e-Statements make it easy
With e-statements, it is easier than ever to keep track of your accounts paperlessly. If you've already accessed e-statements through Online Banking, you know how easy it can be.
- e-Statements are identical to paper statements – including cheque images – but offer the added convenience of paperless storage, secure 24-hour access and receipt of your statement sooner than by mail.
- There is no need to print copies for your records; e-statements are archived for seven years from date of issue, starting January 1, 2009.
- e-Statements are available through Outlook’s Online Banking automatically – no need to sign up! And that means going paperless may be a great option for you.
How to go paperless
There are many great reasons to go paperless. Maybe you want to declutter. Or maybe you would like to lessen your impact on the environment by reducing the use of raw materials, water and energy, not to mention the emissions, that are all a part of producing paper.
To discontinue your paper statements you must be prepared to review and verify transactions posted on your account by viewing your e-statement using Online Banking. Any inconsistencies must be reported within 30 days of the posting date of the e-statement.
There are two ways to opt out of receiving paper statements and go paperless:
- Print and complete the Discontinue Paper Statements Agreement.
