Pay a Bill

Your High-Interest Savings Account is designed as an investment tool, not to conduct day-to-day business. However, you have the convenience of electronic bill payment if you choose. To pay bills from a list of over 6000 local and national vendors, online or by phone, simply use Online Banking or Telephone Banking to set up and pay your bills.

Paying your bills using Online Banking

Adding bill payees from our list of over 6000 local and national vendors
  1. Log in to Online Banking using the Login button on the right side of the web page.
  2. Click on the Payments tab at the top of the Online Banking page, and choose Manage Bill Payees to add, change or delete bill payees. Any changes you make through Online Banking will also take effect in Telephone Banking, and vice versa.
  3. If the vendor you want to pay is not on our vendor listing, you can contact an Outlook Financial Representative and request that the vendor be added to our vendor list.

After you've added your personal list of bill payees, you can then select Pay Bills to pay your bills, or choose one of the other options such as Recurring Bills to schedule recurring payments, or Scheduled Payments to set up future-dated payments.

Steps for Easy Bill Payment using Online Banking
  1. Log in to Online Banking using the Login button on the right side of the web page.
  2. Click on the Payments tab at the top of the Online Banking page.
  3. Click on the Pay From drop down arrow to display all available accounts. Click on the account from which to pay the bill(s).
  4. Under Pay Payee, click the checkbox beside each payee you wish to pay.
  5. Insert the amount.
  6. Click on Continue to proceed with the payment.

Paying your bills using Telephone Banking

  1. Call one of the following numbers and follow the steps below. You can also use these numbers to contact an Outlook Financial Representative during regular business hours.
      Outside Winnipeg, within Canada: 1.877.958.7333
      Outside Canada: 204.958.7333
      In Winnipeg: 204.958.7333
  2. Press 1 for telephone banking.
  3. Follow the prompts to enter your 16-digit Member Card number and your Personal Access Code (PAC).
  4. Press 5 for the Bill Payment feature.
  5. Follow the prompts to can make additions and deletions to your personal vendor list. Any changes you make through Telephone Banking will also take effect in Online Banking, and vice versa.
  6. If the vendor you want to pay is not on our vendor listing, you can contact an Outlook Financial Representative and request that the vendor be added to our vendor list.

After you've added your personal list of bill payees, you can then follow the steps below to pay your bills.

Steps for Easy Bill Payment using Telephone Banking
  1. Call one of the following numbers and follow the steps below. You can also use these numbers to contact an Outlook Financial Representative during regular business hours.

      In Winnipeg: 204.958.7333
  2. Press 1 for telephone banking. 
  3. Follow the prompts to enter your 16-digit Member Card number and your Personal Access Code (PAC).
  4. Press 5 for the Bill Payment feature.
  5. If you wish to use the Voice Recognition functionality, say “Pay a Bill” and then answer the questions to instruct Telephone Banking which bill to pay, how much, and from which account.
    If you choose to use the keypad, say "Touchtone" or press *7 to activate the touchtone. Indicate the account you wish to use, choose your vendor from the list provided, and the amount you wish to pay.
  6. Your request will be played back to you and you will be given the option to proceed or start over.
  7. Once the transaction is complete, you will be given a confirmation number to record on your bill in case you ever have to refer back.
  8. Once you have paid all your bills, you can make another selection, press *# to end the call, or simply hang up.
