Open a TFSA Plan

If you do not already have a TFSA with Outlook Financial, you need to fill out a Tax-Free Savings Account Plan application to be signed and returned to Outlook Financial along with your arrangements for deposit.

If you already have an TFSA with Outlook Financial, you can simply purchase another GIC.

To open an TFSA Plan:

1. Complete the online TFSA Application form.
2. Print, sign and date the form.
3. Send the form by mail to the following address:
   
     Outlook Financial
     Box 2, Station Main
     Winnipeg MB R3C 2G1

Please note:

• Your TFSA plan will be opened within 3 business days.
• If you have provided an email address on your TFSA application, we will confirm your new TFSA plan by email once completed.
• If you have designated a beneficiary on the TFSA plan application form, sign and date the Designation of Beneficiary form and have a witness sign it as well. The witness cannot be a beneficiary or a relative of the annuitant. The Designation of Beneficiary cannot be processed without a witness signature.

If you would like to transfer in an existing TFSA from another financial institution, complete a Direct Transfer-In form and include it with your application.
