All members holding Outlook accounts can participate in Assiniboine Credit Union’s democratic elections and business activities, including the Annual General Meeting.

The Annual General Meeting serves the following purposes:

• Announce the results of the vote for the election of directors.
• Announce the results of any votes on resolutions, such as changes to by-laws presented to the membership before the meeting.
• Summarize the financial statements in the Annual Report which is available on the website prior to the meeting, and address questions presented by members.
• Summarize the direction of the credit union, as presented in the Annual Report.
• Conduct any further business presented by members at the meeting, in accordance with the Credit Unions and Caisses Populaires Act.

Assiniboine's 2010 Annual General Meeting was held Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at Fort Garry Place, Winnipeg MB.

• Both Resolutions voted on were carried.
• The four incumbents - Wilbur Coates, Margaret Day, Susan Deane and Gary Loewen - were re-elected to the Board of Directors.
