EXISTING MEMBERS

If you are an existing member and do not already have a Registered Retirement Income Fund plan (RRIF), we ask that you complete a RRIF application and send it to us.

To open a RRIF Plan by transferring funds from a RRSP or RRIF at another Financial Institution

1. Complete the RRIF Application Form.

   Please note that you will require Adobe Reader to complete PDF forms. The PDF Reader is available from Adobe, which is a third party service provider. You will exit the Outlook Financial website and open a new browser tab by clicking on the following link. To proceed, download the free PDF reader here [acrobat.adobe.com].

2. Complete the Direct Transfer-In Form.
3. Complete the Registered Retirement Income Fund Payment Instructions Form.
4. Print, sign and date the forms, and send the forms by mail to the following address:

     Outlook Financial
     Box 2, Station Main
     Winnipeg MB R3C 2G1

5. To invest your funds in a Fixed GIC
   
   Log in to online banking to verify the RRIF savings account has been opened. Once verified complete and submit our online Deposit Form to provide your investment instructions.

To open a RRIF Plan by Converting an Outlook RRSP to a RRIF

1. Complete the RRIF Application Form.

   Log in to online banking to verify the RRIF savings account has been opened. Once verified complete and submit our online Deposit Form to provide your investment instructions.

Important Notes:

• Minimum RRIF plan opening balance is $2,000
• To assign someone other than your Estate as the beneficiary of your registered plan, or to assign a successor annuitant, please complete either a Designation of Beneficiary or Successor Annuitant form and send in along with your RRIF Application.
• To request that Outlook take additional withholding tax from your RRIF payment, please complete the TD1 form from CRA and include it with your submission.
• Your RRIF plan will be opened within 2 business days after receiving your application.
