About Outlook
Elections 2010
Who can Vote?
Individual Members
Members who are 18 years of age or older and who joined Assiniboine Credit Union on or before February 28, 2010. This is the last date memberships were approved prior to the mailing of the election package, and as such, an accurate members’ register as of the record date for this Annual General Meeting has been determined. Outlook Financial is a division of Assiniboine Credit Union and those who choose to do business with Outlook Financial are members of Assiniboine Credit Union and are entitled to vote. Each individual member only has one vote and joint members have one vote between them.
You may only cast one ballot in the election of directors and one ballot on each resolution, unless you are a member with a personal account and you are also the voting representative of a Body Corporate or Association with a business account, in which case you may vote once in your personal capacity and once on behalf of the Body Corporate or Association.
Body Corporate or Association
A Body Corporate or Association that joined Assiniboine Credit Union on or before February 28, 2010 may appoint a person to vote on behalf of the Corporation or Association but the appointed person must vote by mail-in ballot, as they need to provide ACU with a written resolution or letter from the directors authorizing them to vote on the Body Corporate or Association’s behalf. A person may vote on behalf of only one Body Corporate or Association. The appointed voter must complete and sign the Authentication section of the ballot and include it in the reply envelope with the ballot and the letter or resolution of authorization from the Body Corporate or Association.
The Board would be pleased to receive member questions in advance of the meeting and address them at the meeting.
Your Unique Identifiers
Two unique identifiers, your voter ID and your voter password, appear on your ballot. These identify you as a member of Assiniboine Credit Union. When you vote online, you will need to enter both of these identifiers, to authenticate your ballot.
