Withdaw from my GIC
To withdraw from a Fixed GIC: Fixed GICs are not eligible for early redemption and must remain invested until the expiry of the selected term.
- Non-registered GIC: Refer to Change GIC Maturity Instructions page for instructions on how to complete a non-registered GIC withdrawal.
- TFSA GIC: Refer to Make a TFSA Withdrawal page for instructions on how to complete a TFSA GIC withdrawal.
- FHSA Withdrawal: Refer to Make a Qualified FHSA Withdrawal or Make a Non-Qualified Withdrawal page for instructions on to complete an FHSA GIC withdrawal.
- RRSP GIC: Refer to Make an RRSP Withdrawal page for instructions on how to complete an RRSP GIC withdrawal.
- RRIF Withdrawal: Refer to Make an Extra RRIF Withdrawal page for instructions on how to complete a RRIF GIC withdrawal.
Important Notes:
- Your request will be completed within 1 business day. Log in to online banking to verify your withdrawal.
- Within your online banking profile your FHSA will be “view only”. FHSA deposits and withdrawals cannot be made online. Please use the forms available at Manage my Investments to complete any transactions with your FHSA.
